What if you HATE the food that you think is going to be on the meal plan when you go away to college?

So they force the students to have a meal plan apparently.
What if the student is used to having organic fruits and vegetables, and gluten free food and the student is on a special diet and cannot eat the junk that they most likely have with the meal plan that the school makes mandatory that the student buys.
So when the student goes away to a 4 year college, what kind of food does the meal plan usually include and what if the student most likely cannot eat the food on the meal plan ?

Unless you really think the extra $20-40K a year starting wage (and $1.5M extra lifetime earnings) a college education will get you, just skip College. Is it really worth all the extra cash to have to eat the same food everyone else apparently stays quite healthy eating?

If the food is your biggest concern, you may not belong in higher education anyway…

A meal plan simply includes x meals a week or day or month. It’s any food you want out of the cafeteria. Sometimes it includes other places on campus as well and there are usually more than one cafeteria. And it’s not like a highschool cafeteria. They have vegetarian areas, meat, usually a few different types of cuisine. You’ll have about 10 different islands of food in each cafeteria, usually each with a theme.

Rhetorical questions….You will need to cook your own food?! Maybe? Rent an apartment with a kitchen.
