How to add good calories imbetween meals to gain weight?

I am a junior football player and one of the smallest guys on the team. I am 5′11 and weigh a meager 135. I want to add healthy calories to reach around 160+ by next season. I would like to know how by eating certain things between meals that would help me add muscle. (I plan on working out about four times a week, just so you know). I would like something simple also, seeing as i can’t totally control my diet. Also, any other information that you see pertinent and helpful, feel free to add. Thanks

Granola, multi-grained cereals/bread, oatmeal, pasta, fruits, peanut butter, nuts, eggs, etc.

peanut butter is healthy, tastes good, and high in calories, so is vegetable oil.
