How long will it take me to lose 15 lbs. with my diet and excercise plan?? (10 points)?

I’m 16, 5′9, and 178 lbs. and i’m planning to get down to 160-163 lbs.I’m trying to lose the little fat so it can show the muscle.
Here’s my diet and excercise plan:
Breakfast- 1 bowl of Special K Red Berries with Skim Milk or 1 bowl of oatmeat with a piece of ffruit
Lunch- A bag of brocoli & cauliflower with a chicken breast
Dinner- A bag of brocoli & cauliflower w/ a chicken breast, turkey,or fish(not fried at all)
Snacks- Fruits, Vegetables, Yogurt,and Nutrigrsin Bars

Excercise: 6x/week of cardio at 7mph for 30 minutes.

I feel this will be very effective as I’m varying my diet in a healthy way as long as I’m not eating the same thing every day. My cardio training seems pretty good too.

I really need some feedback and give me some tips on how to improve it or if it’s already good. The best answer gets 10 points.

PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
FYI, I’m not a sporty person as I’m not really good at sports.

    I wish I had a really great answer for you.. I am kind of doing the same thing right now with the special k for breakfast ( try the special k waffles!! ) and the chicken breast for dinner and all …. I think it will take almost 2 months to lose 15 pounds for you.

    Crap I need to be asking you for advise!! I would start out with 3x/week though. So you don’t get burnt out…unless you really enjoy it. Good Luck!

    i don’t know how long it will take you on your diet, but i’m 5′8 and was 170 and i went on the GM diet (google it!) and in ONE WEEK i was 160 and that was without exercising. it seems like a hard diet because you can only eat certain foods on certain days but you can eat as much as you want and it’s totally worth it because it really works!

    sounds like a good plan. but you need to make sure that you dont stop. I also think that those dont hav to be the only foods you need to eat if you want to have a nice meal here and there you should. also if you wanna show off muscle you should do lke 75 crunches each day to improve abs

    Well since you are still growing it is a little more tricky but on this diet and sticking to about 1800 calories(since you are tall you need more than 1500). You should steadily lose 5 pounds a month and with exercise should keep it off and still be able to eat well.

    The healthiest rate for weight loss is no more than 2 pounds per week. I would diversify the vegetables you eat during the main meals and make sure that you have a snack in the morning and afternoon to keep your metabolism going. Also, weight training will build lean muscle which will burn more fat even when you’re just sitting there.

    Everything u do is good, but I’ll advice u that u should play a sport? It makes it faster to lose lbs and it will take about 2 weeks to 3 weeks.
